Our aim
We believe that every person should have the same opportunities in life, regardless of background or gender. Unfortunately, this is not yet the case, especially in the rural areas of Tanzania. Women, girls and youth, who are among the most marginalized groups, are often deprived of opportunities in their lives. Our aim is to empower them to escape poverty and intolerable situations by providing education and sustainable use of the given resources in our communities and environment.
What we do
We support our community to leave poverty and disadvantages behind. Our approaches are as diverse as the problems we face. But one thing they all have in common: Education is used as the basis for a self-reliant life.
We offer supplementary courses in local schools and different types of skill trainings, we operate a micro-finance group that supports women in their businesses, and other initiatives to support the most marginalized groups.
Because we value our nature and environment, we also educate about sustainable farming, resource management and give our best to keep the villages free of plastic waste.
Skill trainings
Our skill trainings support especially single mothers, widows and young girls who dropped out of school to become self-reliant and fend for their own lifes.
Enterpreneurship
We support the women of our community to build and expand their businesses in a microfinance group to fight the poverty and address the high unemployment rate.
Environment
We teach about environment protection or sustainable permaculture farming and organize plastic waste collection campaigns to keep our villages clean and save.
Girls Empowerment
We have special events for girls to create a safe space to talk openly share and discuss their challenges. In addition, provide reusable pads to prevent them missing classes.
Education
We see the need for supplementary education especially in the rural areas of Tanzania. Therefore, we offer English and computer classes in different schools. We also support with school fees and material sponsorships.
WASH
We educate about sanitation, hygiene and the importance of clean and safe water. In the future, we want to supply ceramic water filers and and support in building wells especially in dry regions Tanzanias.
Our achievements
We are a young organization, founded in July 2022. We give our best to support more people every day.
